International Trains

THAILAND
There are only three scheduled trains at the moment in Thailand that cross international borders. Unfortunately, none of them go very far. There is one long distance train that goes from Bangkok to Padang Besar in Malaysia. There are also two international shuttle trains. Hat Yai to Padang Besar and Nong Khai to Thanaleng in Laos. This year we could see two new international trains. Bangkok to Phnom Penh and maybe even Bangkok to Vientiane.
